Catherine Van Wart, Mell Haldeman, and Elsy Jane Myrick Black at an event for the Nine o'Clock Players, a theater group associated with the Assistance League. The woman on the left (probably Ms. Van Wart) holds a box on her lap and wears a fur and velvet jacket. Mr. Haldeman wears a tuxedo and holds a top hat.
