Santa Anita Park, the oldest thoroughbred racetrack in Southern California, opened on December 25, 1934.
View towards the paddock and grandstand entrance at Santa Anita Park. The Art Deco style grandstand was designed by architect Gordon Kaufmann. The open area is lined with wooden benches and there is a citrus tree on the right.
