The newspaper caption lists the chairman of the Christmas party as Mrs. Walker Wilkinson and the negative sleeve lists her as Mrs. Walter Alkinson.
Mrs. Walkinshaw and Mrs. Alkinson stand on either side of the Christmas tree, watching as four young girls of various ages alternately sit or stand, each of them holding a wrapped gift.
