Two detectives photographed in the apartment of William Edward Hickman, who kidnapped and murdered Marion Parker, age 12. The detectives kneel over items piled on the floor. The man in the foreground studies the soles on a pair of shoes, while his partner holds two pieces of a broken golf club in both hands. Additional golf clubs rest atop the pile, with golf balls, clothing, a trashcan, newspaper and pillow lying next to an unmade cot viewed at right.
