Arthur Letts founded the Broadway Department Store and was a philanthropist.
In front of the Letts mausoleum (designed in Egyptian Revival style) in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, six members of the Los Angeles Commandery No. 9, Knights Templar, raise their swords in an arch above the flower-covered casket of Arthur Letts. Seated mourners observe.
