From the witness stand in Superior Judge Bowron's court yesterday Leo P. Kelley, butcher boy sweetheart and accused slayer of Mrs. Myrtle Mellus, society woman, hurled the above charges. It was Kelley's first day on the stand and his testimony throughout, dealing largely with his relations over a period of five years with the society matron, was the most sensational yet adduced during the trial.
