Watch Your Credit --- "P & A Photos" LA 14992 --- (Los Angeles Bureau) Leo P. Kelley Takes Witness Stand. Dramatically defending himself on the witness stand, Leo P. Kelley, butcher boy, testified today at his trial for the murder of Mrs. Myrtle Mellus. In effect he flatly denied the murder and told his complete story of what he said happened on the day of the society woman's death. Photo shows four poses of Kelley on the stand in his own defense.
