Mona, lyricist, sits in the prow of the boat beside her husband, baritone Richard Bonelli, who holds a dachshund in his arms. The lake and the outlines of the trees can be seen behind them.
Text from newspaper caption: The photograph shows Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bonelli in their new speedboat at Lake Arrowhead, where they are enjoying the summer at the home of Mrs. Bonelli's mother, Mrs. Modini-Wood. They are spending this week-end in Los Angeles and will return to Lake Arrowhead Tuesday with Rose Bampton, mezzo-soprano opera star, as a house guest at the resort.
