County recorder Justine Whitney is accused of willful and corrupt misconduct in office. Miss Whitney has taken the stand in her own defense claiming that her inability to settler her accounts on the dates required by law was from extending credit to banks, attorneys, and oil companies who were delayed in paying their bills.
