Dr. Freeman has been pastor of the Pasadena Presbyterian Church for 25 years, after being called from the Lafayette Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, N. Y., and was presented with $29,000 in his honor, which he used to pay off the Pasadena Church's debts. Dr. Freeman stands behind his wife, who holds an album open on her lap. Text from newspaper caption: As a tribute to Dr. Robert Freeman on the occasion of his completion of twenty-five years in the pulpit, the Pasadena Presbyterian Church congregation has just raised an anniversary fund of $29,000, which was used to pay off the church's debt.
