The hermit is Leroy Walsh, or "Tuan" as he is known by, which means Lord and Master. He denies being the assailant of Mr. Parsons and Mr. Gallagher.
Walsh sits on a staircase with his arms wrapped around two children, whose relation to the man are not established.
