Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Minnie Mollie Townsend was the wife of Dr. Francis Everett Townsend (F. E. Townsend), pension lecturer. Dr. Townsend proposed a national pension of $200/month for people over 60 with the caveat of the money had to be spent in entirety over the month.
