Filley, the owner of South American honey bear Kinkii, who is holding the paw of his pet as he scolds her for misbehavior. Handwritten on negative: Louis J. Filley Text from negative sleeve: 3582. Louis J. Filley of 1929 Edgewood, South Pasadena with Kinkii, South American Honey-bear. [stamped:] Feb 11 1936. Text from newspaper caption: She Likes to "See the World," Kinkii, South American honey bear from Ecuador, proves quite a problem to the household of Louis J. Filley of South Pasadena. Kinkii not only romps over the whole house, but has a penchant for running away at every opportunity. Here she is being scolded by her master. She looks sorry, but who knows whether she's really ashamed of herself. [Los Angeles Times, 28 Feb. 1936: 10]
