On Monday, all merchants who participated in the Dollar Day sale on Saturday will be putting the same items on sale so long as the quantities last. An aerial shot of a bustling crowd of men and women walking the street. A store awning takes up the bottom left corner of the photograph. A man's shadow can be seen on the awning, possibly belonging to the photographer. Text from newspaper caption: Dollar Day drew a host of shoppers into downtown Los Angeles yesterday. Four hundred stores offered merchandise at special prices. Here is a part of the crowd shown at Broadway and Seventh. Tomorrow also is Dollar Day.
