An aerial shot of a bustling crowd of men and women walking the street. A store awning takes up the bottom left corner of the photograph. A man's shadow can be seen on the awning, possibly belonging to the photographer.
Similar photograph appears with the article, "Merchants Will Repeat Dollar Day Tomorrow," Los Angeles Times, 16 Feb 1936: A2.
On Monday, all merchants who participated in the Dollar Day sale on Saturday will be putting the same items on sale so long as the quantities last.
