Fought Sitting Bull at time of Custer's defeat. 2/19/36 2/19/36 Text from newspaper caption: Put up your dukes, young feller! "Uncle Billy" Adams, 98-year-old Fullerton resident, former Indian war fighter and Confederate soldier, is recovering from a flu attack which almost succeeded in vanquishing the doughty warrior. This pose shows he is full of pep and fun again. A resident of Fullerton for forty-five years, "Uncle Billy" bears the scars of many battles.
