Miss Parsons was re-elected president, Miss MacLeod was chosen as vice-president and secretary and Miss Childs was given the position of treasurer. Photograph appears with the article, "Daisy Parsons Re-elected as Group Leader," Los Angeles Times, 07 Mar 1936: A7. The four women sit in chairs around a small circular table, looking over information in a series of binders. Text from newspaper caption: Miss Patricia Mines, Janet MacLeod, Daisy Parsons and Emelie Childs led the small group of Spinsters at the first meeting of the year yesterday at the Ambassador. Next Friday they will vote on thirteen news members and plan the annual hi-jinks on April 18. Miss Parsons was re-elected president.
