Possibly related to "Beau Peep Whispers," Los Angeles Times, 15 Mar 1936: D1. These three society women were included in a list of being usherettes for an upcoming theater production.
Catherine Sands, Peggy Terry, and Betty Hagerman stand in a line, dressed as waitresses. They wear aprons over midi-length dresses or skirts, and carry waitress trays with their right hands and two of them stand with their left hand on their hip. The aprons have a notepad tucked into a pocket. In the background are a chair and three pictures hanging on the wall.
