Griffith, brother of Griffith Park donator Colonel Griffith, immigrated to Los Angeles from Wales in 1884 to work successfully for the past 27 years as a chauffeur without any accidents. Photograph appears with the article, "Here's Real Safe Driver," Los Angeles Times, 16 Dec 1935: 5. Griffith casually sits on a stoop wearing a suit and petting a white dog with one black mark over its eye. Text from newspaper caption: Morgan D.
