Officer Lundrigan, normally stationed at Fifth and Olive streets, saved an unidentified woman from being struck by a speeding ambulance, which had already been carrying a victim of a hit and run. Lundrigan was quoted as saying, "Aw, it was nothing." Photograph appears with the article, "Hero Saves Pedestrian," Los Angeles Times, 17 Dec 1935: A1.
