Blanche Pallais in a satin wedding dress with a lace collar and tulle veil holds a bouquet of flowers, and Cosme Meschwitz, in a tuxedo, are married in a church by a Catholic priest who holds up his right hand.
The wedding is mentioned 11 years later in: “Bolivian Consul here leaves post,” Los Angeles Times, 24 Dec. 1946: 2.
Text from negative sleeve: 4233. Senorita Blanquita Pallais (daughter of Nicaraguan consul), Cosme J. Meschwitz (from prominent Bolivian family) becomes LA consul for Bolivia. Marriage Dec./35
