Text from newspaper caption: Participants in the California Real Estate Association's inaugural luncheon at the Ambassador yesterday was this group comprising, left to right, C. C. C. Tatum, general chairman of the arrangement committee; Gov. Merriam, Charles B. Shattuck of Los Angeles, installed as the association's president for 1936; Charles W. Brock of San Francisco, retiring president, and Mayor Shaw. The keynote was optimism for 1936. Los Angeles was awarded convention which will be held in October.
