Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra conductor Otto Klemperer returns to the city after spending four months conducting the New York Philharmonic, planning on resuming conducting for Los Angeles the following Monday. Photograph appears with the article, "Klemperer Gets Welcome On Return To Southland," Los Angeles Times, 04 Jan 1936: A3.
