Judith smiles while looking into the distance and Dorothy looks at Charlotte, who appears to be mid-laugh. Various gentlemen walk up and down the halls in the background. Cropped photograph appears with the article, "Jim Timony, Arraigned, Denies Show's Indecency," 01 Jan 1936: A8. Vosselli, Short and Treadway were just three of the multiple cast members that were arrested for rumored risqué performances in the show "Ladies by Request" performed Monday night in the Hollywood Theater at 1743 North New Hampshire Avenue. Text from newspaper caption: Shocked by the lines in "Ladies By Request," a farce comedy being staged at a Hollywood theater, police swooped down and arrested the producer and cast.
