Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Forrest Whitaker, Abraham Whitaker, Agnes Whitaker, H. H. West Jr., and Mertie West sit in a Willys-Knight car in Yosemite National Park. Forrest Whitaker sits in the driver's seat. The two men wears hats, while the women and the boy wear what appear to be visors. There is a sign next to the road at the right of the photograph. Abraham Whitaker was H. H. West's father-in-law. Forrest Whitaker was Abraham's son and Agnes Whitaker was Forrest's wife. Text from negative sleeve: 62. Yosemite trip about 1929. We camped at Carl Inn and drove over to Yosemite one day.
