Toms place is an unincorporated community in Mono County on Rock Creek, named after the resort "Tom's Place."
Forrest Whitaker poses with trout that he caught. He sits on rocks, wears a hat, and holds a fishing pole. The fish are lined up on top of a wood crate. There is a bag next to the crate. There are trees behind Whitaker.
Forrest Whitaker was H. H. West's brother-in-law.
