Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Toms place is an unincorporated community in Mono County on Rock Creek, named after the resort "Tom's Place." H. H. West's tent at a campsite. There are cots in the tent, and clothes hanging on a line stretching from the tent as well as on the tree. There are rocks in the foreground and trees in the background. Text from negative sleeve: 125. Tom's Place, Rock Creek. August 13 to 27, 1942. Our camp under the leaning pine about 1/4 mile above Tom's Place on the Highway. The Tent was occupied by H. H. and Mertie West. 2 negatives.
