Description

Wilfrid Cline holding a bundle, standing in the open doorway of a small cabin in near Bright Angel Point in Grand Canyon National Park. The Clines were in-laws of Harriet Maria Teel Cline, the sister of H. H. West's first wife Mary Adelbert Teel West Shepard. Text from negative sleeve: 138. Utah Trip, July 1923. See Nos. 132, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. It was cold and rainy and we came to Rust's camp out near Bright Angel point and stopped for the night. The dining room and 4 of the cabins. Other guests there had a good fire going to keep warm and keep dry in the mist. Wilfrid Cline standing in the door of one of the little cabins. As we left next morning, road very muddy and slippery and we slid off the road into the ditch. Here we are getting back on the road. 4 negatives.
