H. H. West along with his mother and cousins pose on an island in the Mississippi River. West drinks from a glass and holds a bottle. Laura Lemberger also holds a glass. Henry Lemberger holds a long object across his knee. His hat and a box with a handle are at his feet. There are trees in the background.
Based on other photographs, the younger woman is Mrs. Henry Lemberger (Laura M. Lemberger), not Mrs. Fred Lemberger.
