Annually, the Rubber Men's Picnic was organized by leaders in the rubber industry for tire and automotive accessory dealers in the automobile industry.
George Thomas of Pomona stands in the center of the photograph, and in his right hand, holds up a large fish by its mouth. He is wearing an ascot hat, a vest with a pocket watch and holds a cane in his left hand. Behind him on the right, five caught fish hang from nails on wooden beams. The ocean can be seen in the background on the left. Wooden framing and beams hover behind him and additional framing extends from a shack (partial view) on the right.
