Annually, the Rubber Men's Picnic was organized by leaders in the rubber industry for tire and automotive accessory dealers in the automobile industry.
Photograph, from left to right, of George Thomas of Pomona and George G. Crackel displaying a fish they presumably caught. George Thomas stands back on the left with one hand resting on his hip and the other holding one end of a stick horizontally. He wears an ascot hat and a vest. George Crackel stands slightly more forward with his body facing left and his head turned towards the camera. He holds the other end of the stick with one hand and his other hand is in his pocket. He wears a boater hat, mid-length jacket and a vest. A large fish dangles by its mouth from the stick held by the two men. Wooden planks, beams and framing stretch overhead and behind them on the right. A shack (partial view) also stands in the background on the right. A box or sign to the left of George Thomas sits on the ground and reads, "J R Termine [?]". The ocean can be seen in the background on the left.
