He stands left-of-center with his head turned towards the left. One hand appears to rest on his hip and the other holds on to a stick. He wears an ascot hat and a vest. To the right and hovering slightly above him, nine dead fish hang in a row on a wooden beam. Wooden beams and framing extend to the right towards a small shack with a storage box affixed to the side of the building. The ocean is in the background.
