Carl Salbach poses for a photograph while holding on to a strap with hunted ducks tethered on both ends. He stands at center and looks to the camera; he wears a tie and suspenders. His arms extend slightly outward as both hands grip onto a strap from which several ducks hang from either end. On the ground in front of him, a gun rests upon a narrow wooden plank that extends horizontally at an angle. Behind him is an open, grassy land with a few huts standing in the distance on the right.
Text from negative sleeve: 300. Cazadores Gun Club. Thanksgiving Day 1912. See Nos.298 and 299. Two photos of Carl Salsbach[sic]. 2 negatives.
