Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Guy Mansberger, Keeper for the Cazadores Gun Club, holds about a score of ducks as he stands for a photograph. He stands in the center and casts his gaze downwards. His right arm is curled up and holds a strap with several ducks hanging from cords. His left arm hangs down at his side and his hand holds on to a cord with a few ducks. Directly behind him, a low, raised, narrow, wood-planked walkway stretches horizontally behind him at an angle. A hut stands in the distance to his right and a fence is visible in the distance on the left. Text from negative sleeve: 302. Cazadores Gun Club. About 1912. Three pictures of our Keeper, Guy Mansberger. He left the club about 1915 and I heard he had gone to Hemet, California, and opened a store. Might have been San Jacinto. 3 negatives.
