Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Charlie Stavnow poses for a photograph with about a score of dead ducks killed on a shoot. He stands at center and looks directly forward with ducks slung around his neck, dangling from both hands and with several ducks laid on the ground in front of him. He wears boots, a jacket and a small hat. He casts a shadow horizontally towards the left. To the left and behind him, a man is captured, in motion, running from the left to the right. Just behind Charlie on the right, about three chickens stand in the grass. In the far distance, a picket-fenced enclosure stands at the right. Text from negative sleeve: 305. Cazadores Gun Club. About 1912. Charles Stavnow. See No.304.
