Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Dr. Ferguson S. Hardin poses for a photograph while wearing piles of ducks shot on opening day. He stands at center and is covered head to toe in dozens of ducks that have been tethered together. A strap stretches across the crown of his head and ducks hang from either side. Behind him on the right, a car (partial view) is parked. The front of the car disappears behind Hardin and the back half of the car is out of frame. A person with crossed legs and a hand on their knee sits right of the steering wheel; the rest of this person is out of frame. A gun rests, barrel pointed up, against the car's running board. To the right of the gun, 2 bags sit atop the running board. Behind the car, there is a house on the right. At left, beyond Hardin, a portable house stands. Text from negative sleeve: 309.
