H. H. West stands center in front of Glen Velzy's Buick Runabout. He has a cigar in his mouth and shows off two trout he holds up in each hand. The Buick behind him sits on an angle with the front of the car facing to the left and away from the camera. At right, a trunk sits on the back of the car and below that, a few spare tires lean against the car. A sack sits on the ground in front of the rear tire and behind H. H. At left, a tent (partial view) appears to be pitched to the car. A tall tree stands behind H. H. and the Buick at center. In the far distance, mountains rise in the background on the left and right.
