Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Elizabeth and Frances West (left and right, respectively) stand atop a low boulder and each displays a sage hen while posing for a photograph. Both wear similar onesies and face square to the camera. They each hold a grouse with a wing in each hand and the birds' chests facing forward. Elizabeth wears a bow in her hair and Frances wears a braid in hers. The remaining 2 grouse of the limit shot by H. H. West lie on the boulder in front of Elizabeth's feet. A hill rises in the background on the right and ground brush extends into the distance at left.
