H. H. West skins a rabbit while Ellen Lorene (Pinkie) Lemberger holds its legs. West wears an apron to cover his legs as well as a hat. There is a fence behind them and trees in the background.
Text from negative sleeve: Crafton, Calif., April 21, 1901. I go out hunting and kill a cottontail rabbit. Ella Lorain [sic] Lemberger, known as "Pinkie" daughter of J. L. Lemberger of Ottumwa, Ia. with the rabbit. Pinkie and I clean the rabbit. 3 negatives.
