Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Waller Chanslor stands in front of a corner of the Alamo Gun Club clubhouse at Crane (Quail) Lake. He is draped in ducks and wearing a big grin. The dead birds are draped over his shoulders and he raises up one hand that holds a string with more ducks. He stands in front of the side of the clubhouse. A gun is propped up against the side of the clubhouse to the left of Waller. The front porch of the clubhouse juts out from behind Waller on the the right. A couple of guns are propped up against the porch. Text from negative sleeve: 397. Crane Lake, Calif. 1910 - 1915.
