Text from negative sleeve: 399. Crane Lake, Calif. 1910 - 1915. Jim Jeffries, the heavy weight champion of the United States was shooting on Castaic Lake, just over the Tejon Pass. He and his party staid[sic] at Bailey's Ranch House over night and came down in the morning to visit us. I took this photo: Left to right: Gene Parker. Ed Hopperstead. Dave F. Smith. Jim Jeffries.
