Frozen pond with trees, buildings, and benches in the background. It may be the pond in the Public Garden. There is snow on the ice. There are black spots on the negative at the left and center.
Text from negative sleeve: 431. Eastern trip, 1914. Boston. The bridge across the Charles River near Cambridge. It is said Longfellow wrote his poem "On the Bridge at Midnight" after being on this bridge. Couple other Boston scenes. Now unknown. 3 negatives.
