Photograph of the eastern façade of George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate mansion. It is viewed from the southeast. A 2-story piazza comprises the back porch with 8 columns. A decorative parapet sits atop the roof's eaves. A cupola rises from the center of the house. A side porch is partially visible at left. Chairs are lined up on the long back porch where visitors mill about and enter the building.
