H. H. West, Jr. stands center and holds a snowball in his hand as he appears to get ready to throw it. His body is facing left, but he turns his head to look back to camera. He stands behind a wire fence with a loose-rock base. Behind the fence, there are stables that extend from the left to the center of the image. A car (partial view) is parked behind H. H., Jr. on the right.
