A blurred and distant view of two men trying to capture a donkey in the barnyard at Captain C. E. (Cameron Erskine) Thom's ranch in Glendale. The donkey faces to the left as two men try to gain control of it. A man facing towards the camera stands behind the donkey's neck and head and holds onto the animal. Another man stands away from the donkey on the right while holding the donkey's tail. Meanwhile, several horses stand in the pen and graze. A barn stands in the background at right.
