Spectators stand on the sidewalk across the street. There is a car parked in front of a market that has signs above reading, "Titman's Market. Quality Meats Groceries," "We recommend Challenge fresh milk." Text from negative sleeve: 528. Glendale, Calif. Decoration Day Parade. May 30, 1937, forming on Glendale Blvd near the school house close to Chevy Chase. The man at the left was Bandmaster of the Y. M. C. A. band. ["Forget his name" crossed out.] [Handwritten: Arnold Burgener.] On the school grounds was a group of girls eating their lunch. The girl at the right was Sarah Burma, a girl friend of H. H. West Jr. Shes has the clarinet case. 2 negatives.
