West, Jr. and Ambrose Cline kneeling in the backyard and aiming their bows and arrows as they play. Both boys take the same kneeling position with one knee to the ground and the other leg bent with a foot flat on the ground while facing towards the right. H. H., Jr. wears glasses and shoes as he tries to fix his aim. Ambrose is viewed in profile and leans forward as he takes aim on a target out of frame. Behind H. H., Jr., two people (both in partial view) stand in the yard. In the background, a fence runs on a slight downward angle across the image from left to right. Text from negative sleeve: 533.
