Text from negative sleeve: 544. Gardner trip, about 1919. We stop at Onion Flat to rest our train. L to R: Guide Robinson. Stavnow, Swain, Velzy, with back to camera. Summit of Kerseare Pass, looking down toward Bull Frog Lake. There was a 5 gal oil can in the rocks at the summit in which travelers were supposed to put their names. We went thru the can and found Frank R. Willis had been across at one time. He was a personal friend of the Wests, and helped incorporate the Western Rubber & Supply Co. 2 negatives.
