View of one of the Kearsage Lakes from the foot of the pass, photographed on the way back from a fishing trip to Gardner Creek.
Text from negative sleeve: 554. Gardner Creek trip, about 1919. There was a little raft on the lake. Glen Velzy found it and paddled it around to fish from. We caught a lot of nice trout weighing about 1 lb. each, and froze them at night, and packed them to Independence and re-iced them for trip home. Arrived in fine condition. On the way out I took a picture of the Kersearge lake right at the foot of the pass. 2 negatives.
