He sits near a low, planked barrier that stretches across the image and looks back to camera. Through the trees behind him, another dwelling stands. Text from negative sleeve: 565. Glen Ranch, Calif. About 1924. A party went to Glen Ranch to spend Labor Day or Admission Day holidays. We camped above Tally's place on the Lytle creek. Had a cabin.
